حرکات بدن، ESL Vocabulary
تا به حال شده به نحوه‌ی توصیف یک کاراکتر به زبان انگلیسی فکر کنید؟ احتمالا هیچ وقت در آموزشگاه یا دانشگاه از شما نمی‌خواهند که یک متن داستانی بنویسید یا حرکات یک شخص را توصیف کنید. اما اگر بخواهید، چگونه باید انجامش دهید؟ در یک مکالمه، اگر بخواهید خاطره‌ای از خودتان به زبان انگلیسی تعریف کنید، چگونه انجامش می‌دهید؟
به متن زیر دقت کنید:
ریک نفس عمیقی کشید و به صفحه‌ی مانیتورش خیره شد. پلک‌هایش آنقدر سنگین شده بودند که با هیچ هوای تازه‌ای نیز از هم باز نمی‌شدند. دستش را با خستگی دراز کرد تا لیوان قهوه‌اش را بردارد، اما تلاش او، نهایتا به واژگون کردن قهوه روی کاغذهای باطله منجر شد. مشتش را زیر لپش گذاشت و به حرکت قهوه روی کاغذها خیره شد. لبانش را روی هم فشار داد و با صدای خسته‌ای، با خود زمزمه کرد:« لعنتی…این کار اصلا برای من ساخته نشده».
توصیف بخش مهمی از هر زبان را تشکیل می‌دهد و این توصیف، فقط شامل « انشای بهار» یا «he is fat» نمی‌شود! انسان‌ها طی زندگی روزمره، حتی اگر نخواهند یک داستان بنویسند، مجبور هستند که خود یا دیگری را در موقعیت‌های متفاوت توصیف کنند. یعنی چیزی که بیشتر از بقیه با آن ارتباط دارند « سایر انسان‌ها»
در ادامه شما را با نحوه‌ی توصیف حرکات و افعال مربوط به توصیف یک انسان آشنا می‌سازیم.
He clapped his hands in time to the music.
